ATCC NO: 64 COMM: Cited in previous editions of this Catalog, and elsewhere in the literature, as Ford's strain 6. However, ATCC records show that Ford's strain 29 was initially brought into the collection as No. 64 and later as No. 4517. Ford's strain 6 (Bacillus niger) was originally brought into the collection as No. 81, then added again later as No. 4521. |
