1
Biosafety classification is based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their facilities comply with biosafety regulations for their own country. |
Applications |
The line secretes an allele specific antibody that reacts with the Ly 6.2C mouse T cell surface antigen. The antibody is useful for studies of T cell activation and T cell surface antigen phenotypes. |
Derivation |
Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells. |
Genes Expressed |
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against mouse Ly 6.2C |
Cellular Products |

Comments |
Animals were immunized with the BM10-37 mouse cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) cell clone (anti H-2 Kb). Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells. The line secretes an allele specific antibody that reacts with the Ly 6.2C mouse T cell surface antigen. The antibody promotes alloreactive CTL lysis of antigen non-bearing targets. It does not appear to interact directly with the T cell antigen receptor (TcR) as Ly 6.2C is not believed to be associated with the TcR complex on the T cell surface. The antibody is useful for studies of T cell activation and T cell surface antigen phenotypes. |
