Applications |
The cells produce, but do not secrete mu chain. No light chain is produced. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
Derivation |
Fetal liver cells (14 days gestation) were fused with P3X63Ag8.653 myeloma cells. No light chain is produced. |
Genes Expressed |
immunoglobulin; mu heavy chain (not secreted) |
Cellular Products |
immunoglobulin; mu heavy chain (not secreted) |
Comments |
Fetal liver cells (14 days gestation) were fused with P3X63Ag8.653 myeloma cells. The cells produce, but do not secrete mu chain. No light chain is produced. The kappa light chain genes have not been functionally re-arranged. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
