Animals were immunized in the hind footpad with irradiated 5C2 mouse B cell lymphoma cells that had been cultured in the presence of dibutyryl-cAMP. Popliteal lymph node cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells. The antibody will neutralize the B7.2 antigen, but does not react with the B7.1 antigen. |

The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium, Catalog No. 30-2005. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium:
- 0.05 mM 2-mercaptoethanol
- fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%

Subculturing |
Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Start cultures at 0.5 X 10 exp5 to 1 X 10 exp5 cells/ml and maintain between 1 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 cells/ml. |
