Animals were immunized with MCF7 cells (ATCC HTB-22). Spleen cells were fused with PAI myeloma cells. The antibody cross-reacted with some cases of fibrocystic mammary disease and one of two colon carcinomas tested. It did not react with normal tissue nor with 17 of 18 non-mammary malignancies tested. |
