Applications |
Suzanne Epstein that reacts with the gp120 of HIV-1. In ELISA the antibody reacts strongly with rgp120 IIIB, but does not react with gp120 MN. It binds to the C5 region (positions 474 - 489) gp120 synthetic peptide used to map antibody reactivity, and cross blocks antibody 46-3 (see ATCC CRL-2191) and 46-4 (see ATCC CRL-2178). |
Comments |
Animals were repeatedly immunized with recombinant gp120 (rgp120) from a single isolate of HIV-1 (IIIB). Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells. 46-2 is one of a panel of antibodies developed by Dr. |
