Biosafety classification is based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their facilities comply with biosafety regulations for their own country. |
Applications |
The antibody binds to IL-8R-B with Kd = 1.9 nM. |
Disclosure |
This material is cited in a US or other Patent and may not be used to
infringe the claims. Depending on the wishes of the Depositor, ATCC may be
required to inform the Patent Depositor of the party to which the material was
furnished. This material may not have been produced or characterized by ATCC. |
Derivation |
Spleen cells were fused with P3X63Ag8U.1 myeloma cells. |
Genes Expressed |
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against interleukin 8 receptor type B (IL-8R-B, CDw128) |
Cellular Products |
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against interleukin 8 receptor type B (IL-8R-B, CDw128) |
Comments |
Animals were immunized with the 293-27 cell line (human fetal kidney, transfected to express IL-8 receptor type B). Spleen cells were fused with P3X63Ag8U.1 myeloma cells. The antibody binds to IL-8R-B with Kd = 1.9 nM. It does not bind to the type A receptor. The epitope recognized by 4D1.5.7 appears to be expressed in the N terminal portion of the molecule. |
Complete Growth Medium |
Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with 4.5 g/L glucose and 2 mM L-glutamine, 90%; fetal bovine serum, 10%
|
Subculturing |
Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Start cultures at 2 X 10 exp5 cells/ml and maintain between 1 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 cells/ml. |
Isotype |
IgG2a |
