Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: EcoRI, MspI, HindIII, PstI, BamHI (tested against 12 unrelated Caucasians). |
Comments |
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--10.2, 4.36; HindIII--8.8, 4.6, 1.1; EcoRI--8.4, 2.4 doublet, 1.4; PstI--4.4, 3.0, 2.7, 1.75, 1.25, 1.05; AvaI--6.6, 4.7, 1.85, 0.7. D11S29 has been mapped to 11q23 on the human chromosome. Codominant segregation of the TaqI polymorphism has been demonstrated in 4 families (20 individuals). This probe was derived from a 11.67 BamHI human insert of a phage clone L7-lambdaL47.1. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: EcoRI, MspI, HindIII, PstI, BamHI (tested against 12 unrelated Caucasians). |
