Morphology
After 5 to 7 days colonies grow rapidly on potato sucrose medium with floccose aerial hyphae which are usually yellow and later develop a red pigment. Conidiospores are formed laterally. Abundant macroconidia with 3 to 5 septa are produced. Chlamydospores are slightly curved and are terminal or intercalary.
